Chickens- Barnyard Mix (Straight Run)

Our barnyard mix chicks are bred from a diverse, cold-hardy foundation including Lavender Ameraucana, Barred Rock, Rhode Island Red, Leghorn, Cornish, Jersey Giant, and select bantams.

These birds are not sold as purebred. They are selected for hardiness, temperament, and practical productivity rather than show standards. Expect variation in size, color, and egg type. Some hens may lay brown, tinted, or blue/green eggs depending on genetics.

Rooster Guarantee

For qualifying orders, we guarantee at least one rooster per order. Sex is determined by secondary characteristics or crowing at appropriate age. If a guaranteed rooster is not present, a replacement or credit will be offered at our discretion.

This guarantee applies to chickens only and does not apply to guineas, quail, or geese.
